The response due date was extended to April 12, 2022.

Question & Answer (Q&A) For RFQ 36C25622Q0523 0001 – UPS Fleet Replacement
Questions Answers
Can you please provide a breakdown of how many UPS are required at each address listed?
New Orleans – 120
Baton Rouge North CBOC – 6
Baton Rouge South CBOC – 12
Slidell CBOC – 2
Hammond CBOC – 2
Houma CBOC – 2
Franklin CBOC – 2
Bogalusa CBOC – 2
St. John CBOC – 2
Do all of these sites have a loading dock or will any of them require a truck with a liftgate.
Only the New Orleans location has a loading dock. All other locations will require a truck with a liftgate.
Can you please provide the models and quantities of the old UPS units that will be replaced at each site.
There is a mix of the following models:
APC SUA750RM1U, APC
SUA2200RM2U, APC SUA2200RMXL3,
and APC SURTA3000RMXL3U. There might even be some non-uniform 1000 models in there. The quantities of each are unknown at this time.
What size are the units being replaced?
Example of Kva 1000, 1500, 2200, 3000, 5000 etc.
There is a mix of 750, 1000, 2200, and
3000s.
The term “battery pack” is referenced several times. Are there separate battery packs at each location? These are commonly referred to as EBM’s (Extended Battery Module)
No, the term “battery pack” was referencing the batteries in the uninterruptible power supplies. We just want to ensure that the units include the batteries and will be functional once installed.
Will there be one ship to / storage point for all new equipment or will it be shipped to / stored at each location?
It is preferred that everything is shipped to one location (New Orleans) for easier inventory management. Units can be relocated to the other locations upon installation.
36C25622Q0523, 0001
In regard to “All disposal costs and fees during removal”: Will we be able to store the units at a central location for pickup by a waste disposal company?
Yes, storing the decommissioned units in a central location is fine. Storage in this area should not exceed 30 days.
Are all racks we are installing UPS units into four post or two post and do you have a count/location of the racks?
See response to question # 1 for quantities needed at each site. The racks are two post racks. The quantity is unknown at this time.
