Stoner Avenue Shreveport, LA 71101 United States sharrion.young-mosley@va.gov sharrion.young-mosley@va.gov Overton Brooks VA Medical Center located at 510 East Stoner Avenue, Shreveport LA, requires a contract for Institutional Review Board (IRB) services and intends to enter into a sole source contract with LSU Health Sciences Center, 1501 Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for a one (1) year period from October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019. The anticipated date of award is September 19, 2018. The IRB is required by Federal Law and will comply with the Terms of the Federal Wide Assurance for Institutions within the United States. The service must be carried out by basic ethical principles guiding research involving human subjects that are provided in the Nuremberg Code, the Declaration of Helsinki, and the Belmont Report. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541715 applies, size standard is 500 employees. The Government will consider all responses to this notice by 1:00 p.m. (CST) September 17, 2018. Responses must be in writing to the Contracting Officer.
