About this file
This document is an amendment to a request for quotation for a life safety inspection program. The amendment extends the response deadline to June 22, 2022 at 3:00 PM CST and must be emailed to the specified contracting officer. It also provides answers to questions from offerors. The inspection program involves monthly testing of fire extinguishers at eight different VA locations, as well as annual inspections of items such as fire pumps, fire doors, emergency lighting, kitchen hoods, and dry chemical fire suppression systems. Offerors are to report any deficiencies found during inspections. The VA will be responsible for correcting deficiencies either through contract modification or separate purchase order. Emergency service required outside the scope of the contract will also be handled through separate purchase order by the VA.
