The vendor must provide pre-vacuum, gravity, liquid, leak test and daily air removal test (dart) cycles and accommodate a variety of adjustable sterilization parameter settings and instrument sets weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

1. Requirements:

a. Must be no bigger than 26x37.5x48 to fit in designed location

b. Meet Current AAMI ST 79 Guidelines for processing 25 pounds (lbs.) trays

c. FDA Validated to process up to 15 wrapped trays per cycle for a total of 375 lbs. per load

d. New style easy open door

e. 12 Programmable Cycle Selections featuring a Color Touch Screen visible from 15 feet away

f. Customizable cycle options

g. Eye level ergonomic control

h. Easy to use Sterilization Cart & Carriage for loading and unloading the steam sterilizer with removable and adjustable shelf height for maximum flexibility of chamber configuration

i. Non-lubricated, steam-activated door gasket ensures no air leaks

j. Door stops automatically if there is an obstruction

k. 15-year chamber warranty

l. Elliptical or round chamber, jacket and door constructed with 316L stainless steel

m. Automatic utilities start-up and shut-down

n. Electronic water saving device

o. Capability of Pro-Connect Remote Monitoring

p. Power slide doors controlled with touch of a button

2. Site Specific:

a. Steam, drain, electrical controls, electrical-vacuum pump, feed water, and back-flow prevention

b. Contractor shall deliver and perform certified installation providing all labor, material, and equipment to install and coordinate with the general construction contractor responsible for constructing surrounding and connecting facility/infrastructure

c. Contractor shall remove all shipping packaging, and installation debris from the site

d. Contractor shall perform start up testing and validation and provide a report to VA SPS staff
