About this file
This is a special notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs regarding a sole source contract for the acquisition of flow cytometry equipment and related items. The VISN 10 Network Contracting Office at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a contract with Becton, Dickinson and Company, as the government believes it is the only authorized distributor that can provide the required Symphony A5 SORP equipment. The notice seeks this equipment to support research at the VA medical center, including the Symphony A5 SORP, evaluation kits, starter kits, and upgrade items. Interested parties have until January 21, 2021 to provide a written notice of their ability to meet the requirements, though the VA may still choose to proceed with a sole source award. The desired equipment must enable multi-parameter flow cytometric analysis for cellular immunology studies with at least 9 lasers and 40 parameter detection capabilities.
