* = Required Field Contract Opportunity Special Notice J065 Uronav System Preventative Maintenance - Saginaw VAMC 48105 36C25021Q0190 N 811219 Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System 2215 Fuller Road Ann Arbor, MI 48105 Contracting Officer Kelly Poole kelly.poole@va.gov 734-222-6177 SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, Ann Arbor, Michigan is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for preventative maintenance and repairs to the UroNav Fusion Biopsy System located in the Surgical Services Department of the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw, Michigan. NAICS Code 811219, size standard $22.0 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Philips Healthcare (3000 Minuteman Road, Andover, MA 01810), for this procurement due to the fact that Philips Healthcare holds proprietary rights to the hardware and software used to perform the preventative maintenance and repairs. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 12:00pm Eastern time on December 9, 2020. No telephonic inquiries, faxed or mailed responses will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to Kelly.poole@va.gov.
