Regional Procurement Office (RPO) - East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Illumina, Inc. to purchase the NextSeq 2000 Sequencing System for the Research and Development Department located at the VA Boston Healthcare System. Due to proprietary measures, this sequencing system is necessary for compatibility with what is currently used and installed on station for on-going, funded genetics research. The following equipment will be purchased:

Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
