The Department of Veterans Affairs, Greater Los Angeles Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1, for CMR42 from Circle Cardiovascular Imaging. The software conducts number of research studies involving the analysis of medical imaging data (e.g., MRI or CT scans) generated from human and animal samples. One of the main steps in using this data is quantification of absolute myocardial blood flow, cardiac function, and 4D flow images.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement and who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller of all the items listed above, may submit a capability statement to the contracting office to the contracting office no later than Wednesday, May 12, 2021, 12:00 PM, EST. However, those statements shall describe in detail how the vendor can meet or exceed the Veterans Affairs’ requirements. Interested/capability statements shall be sent to Rachael Talbott at Rachael.Talbott@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
