2-Photon LSM 880 Confocal Microscope with Airyscan 15212-5319 36C24E18Q0097 N 334516 US Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Service Area Office (SAO) East 323 North Shore Drive, Suite 500 Pittsburgh PA 15212-5319 lynn.portman@va.gov The Department of Veterans Affairs, North Florida/South Georgia VA Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with Carl Zeiss Microscopy for the 2-photon LSM 880 Confocal. The 2-photon LSM 880 with Airyscan is the only confocal laser scanning microscope that combines three complementary techniques -superresolution, sensitivity, and speed in one system, helping to deliver multimodal imaging. No other vendor can meet the requirements that the 2-photon LSM 880 laser point scanning confocal microscope made by Carl Zeiss and required by the VA Medical Center. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, May 1st, 4:00, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Lynn Portman at lynn.portman@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
