Questions:
• Clin #0001 – What is meant by bundle/package?
• Clin# 0010 What patient monitor, and does it include additional components like a module frame rack?
• Clin# 0018. Is this an absolute requirement?
• Clin# 0022 and Clin# 0041 are both asking for Suction Bottle Mounting Arm. Are both needed?
• Clin# 0023. What is meant by remote?
• Clin# 0035. Is this an absolute requirement
• To provide trade in on Avances, could you provide the age of units, and serial numbers?
Answers:
• Clin #0001- The bundle package are the pertinent accessories that comes with the machine(s).
• Clin #0010- We are requiring machines with the built-in gas monitors and volume control monitors. * The monitors we will mount on those units will be from Philips and the module racks, in which will be pulled off of the Avances because they are interchangeable.
• Clin #0018- Yes, the built-in monitors are an absolute requirement.
• Clin #0022/Clin #0041 Yes both suction Bottle mounting arms are needed.
• Clin #0023 The remote is a cable to connect the monitor to the cybernet tangent monitor for
PICIS.
• Clin #0035 Yes, it is an absolute requirement.
Avances Age and serial numbers of Units to be used as a trade in:
1. EE123847 SN: ANBR00568 Acquired 12/17/2012
2. EE128222 SN: ANBR02360 Acquired 9/30/2013
3. EE123473 SN: ANBR00646 Acquired 12/06/2012
4. EE133912 SN: APKT02423 Acquired 9/26/2014
5. EE123852 SN: ANBR00642 Acquired 12/17/2012
6. EE123478 SN: ANBR00651 Acquired 12/06/2012
7. EE123850 SN: ANBR00625 Acquired 12/17/2012
8. EE123476 SN: ANBR00650 Acquired 12/06/2012
Questions:
• Question 1: Does the proposed system require the modular breathing system that does not require tools to disassemble or swap with spares?
• Question 2: Does the proposed system require the digitally controlled vaporizer, ventilator, and gas delivery?
• Question 3: Does the proposed system require functionality to support automated, intra-operative patient lung recruitment?
• Question 4: Does the proposed system require the mechanical, rising bellows?
Answers:
• Question 1: Yes, because it will allow fast and easy troubleshooting and infection prevention.
Modular flow sensors are interchangeable with Avance CS2, breathing system can be autoclaved without taking the Anesthesia Machine out of service, Gas analyzers can be removed without tools, and has breathing color indicators to give spontaneous triggered breaths for patient correct wake up time and also tells if the patient needs additional medication.
• Question 2: Yes, because this will allow anesthesia providers to pause gas flow and ventilation for one minute and to resume flows and ventilation at any time.
• Question 3: Yes, because anesthesia providers can prevent post operative pulmonary complications. Such as pneumonia and atelectasis which cause a longer recovery time in the PACU. It lowers may lower costs, because we use fewer PM Kits, less machine downtime, and less workflow disruption.
• Question 4: Yes, because it provides audible and visual of patient breathing and leak detection.
