isNotice of Intent to Sole Source

The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO East, Network Contracting Office VISN 8 intends to enter into a sole source contract with Conexsys, Inc. 6 Blackstone Valley Place Ste 402, Lincoln, RI 02865 for

Inventory Management Software. After extensive research it was determined that Conesys, Inc., is the only contractor that provides such a product. The procurement is being conducted in accordance with

FAR 13.501 (a), only one source can respond due to the unique or specialized nature of the work.

Conexsys, Inc. is the sole provider of this equipment is 511210 with a size standard of $38.5 mil.

1. SOFTWARE MODULES: - QUALITY ASSURANCE - ROOM VIEW/PATIENT TRACKING - INVENTORY

MANAGEMENT *APPLICATION UPGRADES *TEST ENVIRONMENT *SUPPORT Licenses: Room Licenses as follows: North FL/South GA (Gainesville) - 5 Rooms; Orlando - 5 Rooms; Tampa - 5 Rooms; Bay Pines

- 5 Rooms; San Juan - 4 Rooms; West Palm - 4 Rooms - EA. 28

2. Interface Licenses - Orders (ORM) from VistA - EA. 6

3. Onsite Training (1 Day) - No value if not used - Must be utilized in increments of 2 or more days -

Includes travel expenses – EA. 6

4. HI-IQ STARTUP PACKAGE - QA & SCHEDULING - INVENTORY - EA. 5

5. HI-IQ UPGRADE TO IRIS DATA BASE CONVERSION – EA. 1

6. IfceCONFIG INTERFACE CONFIGURATION – EA 5

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone request will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements as stated herein, they must provide written notification to the Contracting Specialist within five (5) days from the date of this publication/announcement, accompanied by supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of a firm to comply with the above requirement.

Responses received will be evaluated by the Contracting Specialist. However, information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

All interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the so stated product to VA, within a deliverable time. If no responses are received within the stated time frame, the VA will precede with the intended sole source contract awards with Conexsys, Inc.
