Statement of Work, Pharmacy Quality System Compliance United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 797

1) BACKGROUND

a) The NF/SG Veterans Health System (NF/SG VHS) maintains an annual service contract for maintenance and updates for the Pharmacy Quality System License Support Services. This service contract includes Gainesville and Lake City Medical Centers, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and The Villages OPCs, Ocala, St. Augustine, Lecanto, Palatka, St. Mary’s, Marianna, Waycross, and Perry CBOCs.

2) OBJECTIVE

a) This service contract is for the purchase, annual maintenance and support services for the USP 797 compliance software used by North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System. This online service will allow local facilities to document information to show compliance with USP797 standards for IV Compounding rooms.

3) STATEMENT OF WORK

USP 797 compliance software and service contract must the following characteristics:

i) Clean room quality system with integrated rules to help with USP 797 compliance.

ii) Web based & customizable to the build-out of all sterile compounding areas.

iii) Reporting feature includes benchmarking, trending & analyses – all easily producible for any visiting governing body.

iv) Utilized to meet TJC (The Joint Commission) and USP documentation requirements.

v) 7AM 7 PM call in support, 24/7 emergency support provided.

vi) Scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs to be conducted to ensure that softward is operating within specifications and functioning at maximum efficiency.
