March 2010 K Nurse Call System Equipment & Installation - Sole Source 30901 36C24718R0261 N 334290 Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 7 Network Contracting Activity 501 Greene Street Hatcher Building - Suite 2 Augusta GA 30901 Brigitte Huffin Brigitte.Huffin@va.gov Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO7), Augusta, GA., intends to award a sole source firm fixed priced contract to Signal Technologies, Inc., 111 Centrum Dr, Irmo, SC 29063, Nurse Call System Equipment Upgrade & Installation for the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta GA 30904.
This is a sole-source, non-competitive requirement which will be awarded to, Signal Technologies, Inc, a small business, and authorized to sell, install and service the Critical Alert systems utilized throughout the Charlie VA Medical Center. The procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted. The NAICS code 334290, size standard of 750 employees.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responses received will only be considered for future purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Any responses should be emailed to Brigitte Huffin at Brigitte.Huffin@va.gov, by 1PM Eastern Standard time on February 27, 2018.
