The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.
Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 100 Emancipation Dr., Hampton, Virginia 23667, is seeking potential sources capable to provide Electrical Testing and Repair services.
Applicable NAICS Code is 238210 with a size standard of $16.5 million. Classification code is H259.
Contractor shall furnish all supplies, materials, equipment, personnel/labor, and technical supervision required to perform inspections, repairs, testing, cleaning, calibrations, and adjustments on the electrical power distribution system and associated equipment at Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center. This is a 4160 volt primary system that includes various secondary voltages and both emergency and normal power sources.
Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): Please identify your companies socioeconomic categories- 8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business, other small, small or large; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
