SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY – BRAND NAME OR EQUAL

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research through this Sources Sought notice to provide and install medical grade wireless communication systems and accessories in the Hunter Holmes McGuire Richmond VAMC. This Sources Sought announcement is not a request for proposals and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy.

The required system should be equivalent to the Carrot Medical item numbers listed below:

2. 100431C-COM PRO ELITE SYSTEM1EA
3. 100377C-COM WIRELESS AFFINITY HEADSET8EA
4. 100417C-COMWIRELESS HD HEADSETS4EA

Manufacturer Carrot Medical The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses. All responses shall reference 36C24619Q0445 and be submitted in writing no later than April 5, 2019 at 3:00 PM, EDT via E-mail address to: nicole.stewart3@va.gov.

If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov) to be recognize as such.

The NAICS 334510 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 1,250. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors will be required to be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
