Project: 659-16-102, Correct IT Deficiencies

Responses to RFP Questions

1. Question: Upon review of the project documents we have found several drawings to be missing.

Drawing GI001 states the below missing drawings are to be part of the mechanical section:

Drawings that are missing: M109, M110, M111, M601, M602, M701, M801

Answer: These drawings were included in solicitation attachment titled, "36C24618R0834

CONTRACT ATTACHMENT A – File 2 – Construction Drawings 12-30-2016", provided with the original solicitation on 12 July 2018.

2. Question: I looked at AE‐101 & AE‐106 and both pages are not proper scale. I’m sure this is a problem with other pages as well. Can you please get these plans rescaled properly in an addendum?

AE‐101 is supposed to be 1/16” = 1’0” and is actually 1/60” = 1’0”

AE‐106 is supposed to be 1/16” = 1’0” and is actually 1/60” = 1’0”

Answer: The plans plot at the correct scale when plotted on full-size sheets.

3. Question: Please reissue the PDF plans for the above referenced project. They are formatted for 8‐1/2 x 11 and not legible when printed full‐sized.

Answer: This has been addressed in Amendment 0002.

4. Question: Do any of the rooms where we have to remove walls have a floor finish?

Answer:

• The flooring finish in Rooms 1190 & 1190A, Bldg 2 is VCT. However, the wall being removed in this space does not extend to the ground.

• Floor finish is verified in Corridor 1201 and Rooms 1021 & 1021C, Bldg 5, as well as, Room BA122B, Bldg 21.

5. Question: If any of the rooms where we have to remove walls have a floor finish, what floor finish is it?

• Rooms 1190 & 1190A, Bldg 2 have VCT. However, the wall being removed in this space does not extend to the ground.

• Corridor 1201 and Rooms 1021 & 1021C, Bldg5 have VCT and carpet

• BA122, Bldg 21 has VCT.

6. Question: Where we have to either cut new doors or replace or widen existing doors, what is the floor finish and what is the base?
