(NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL) It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible small business firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote/Proposal. Responses, in any form, are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for the preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information is submitted by the respondents is strictly voluntary.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement for a Hill Phoenix/Omni Temp Refrigeration maintenance services at the Hampton VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Hampton, Virginia. The potential contractor shall provide the manufacturer’s required maintenance with the necessary manufacturers parts.

The anticipated contract type is Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) with a base year plus four (4) option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the requirement is 811412 (Appliance Repair and Maintenance) with a size standard of $14 million. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond.

Interested businesses shall submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten 8.5 x 11 inch pages, font no smaller than 12 point, 1.5 spaced) demonstrating their ability to perform these services. Please indicate the size status and representations of your business, such as but not limited to: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Hubzone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc.). SDVOSB/VOSB interested parties shall be registered in the VIP database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ .

The capability statement package shall be sent by e-mail to wayne.neyland@va.gov. Submissions must be received at the office cited no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on July 20, 2018.
