NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The SAO East/NCO 6 Contracting Office, Hampton, Virginia, intends to award a sole source purchase order to First Nation Group (DUNS: 078875731) under the authority of VAAR 819.7007, authorizing sole source awards to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns without further determination that more than one (1) SDVOSB concern is available to meet the requirement. This purchase order will be to supply the Asheville VAMC with Philips Alice NightOne Wireless Home Sleep Testing Systems. The Asheville VAMC requires these Systems to provide group patient clinics and in-home services for their Sleep Disorder’s Department.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901 and is implemented for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1 (b)(2). The anticipated award date is 27 April 2018. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 26 April 2018 at 4 pm Eastern Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
