The purpose of amendment P0001 is to provide response to questions form interested vendors.

See attached for questions and responses.

Natalie Acevedo Contracting Officer

1. Is the Contractor required to pull the samples on-site?

Response: Yes, contractor will pull samples from each site

2. Are the samples to be pulled on a specific day/business hours? Ex, to be pulled on weekends or after business hours?

Response: Samples pulled during business hours now being changed to 730am-to 4pm. They are normally done Mon-Thu. Since the lab we used did not test on the weekends.

3. Is shipping to be included in the cost of testing up front, or can this be on an as needed basis to be billed at time of invoicing?

Response: Should be included.

4. Is the water quality standard for Colony Count testing acceptable per ADA standards? This requirement is <500 CFU/mL Response: Yes

5. Will the contractor be responsible for sampling at each site or do we ship supplies to each site and samples are taken by government personnel?

Response: Contractor is responsible for sampling that’s why we need a trained certified person.

6. If we collect, are we still required to ship the supplies within 5 days of sampling? – Response: If the contractor can guarantee that their technician will have their own supplies and are able to keep the samples at the proper temperature, they will not have to send us the box beforehand.

7. Are the reports due within 7-10 days, or when the analysis is complete including weekends and holidays?

Response: The average incubation period is 5-7 days then giving the Lab Tech time to complete the report therefore the average time frame is 7-10 days.

8. Are we analyzing endotoxins and HPC on every sample?

Response: No, only when deemed necessary
