The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to obtain an automated treatment instruction system, tied into the existing computerized patient records system which will facilitate better outcomes and a better patient experience for the Syracuse VAMC.

Period of performance: 08/01/2023 to 07/31/2024

Basic description of the requirement: The Syracuse VA Medical Center wishes to purchase and install an automated treatment instruction software package in the Emergency Department (ED), Inpatient, Outpatient clinics and CBOC’s which is fully compatible with the existing Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) and the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA).

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by June 28th, 2023 by 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.

Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – Logicare in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Specialist Tevia Mastykarz at Tevia.Mastykarz@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
