This acquisition has been approved for a competitive small business procurement. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction award is anticipated. NAICS Code: 237990. Small Business Size Standard: $39.5 Million.

Replace Loading Dock Equipment Project# SL-22-003; NYHHS - Manhattan Campus:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Work to include but not limited to: Replace loading dock equipment (Project # SL-22-003) at NYHHS – Manhattan Campus for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010 in accordance with manufacturer equipment drawings & specifications and VA guidelines and regulations for Replacing Loading Dock Equipment.

Work shall meet all VA regulations and guidelines requirements. Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, administrative support, labor, materials, tools, parts, supplies, lubricants, equipment, barricades, signs, and transportation to remove and dispose old equipment, repair dock concrete for all installation of bumper on the loading dock, connect equipment electrical cable and wires to designated power panel, install (9) rolling steel doors, (9) loading dock bumpers, and (3) hydraulic levelers, freight and handling of parts and material site transportation and deliver rolling steel doors, hydraulic dock leveler, loading dock bumper and brackets to site.

The full solicitation documents including technical specifications and drawings, is expected to be posted on or about February 4, 2022.

Offerors will search for solicitation 36C24222B0025 to access Invitation for Bid documents and any Amendments. Bidders are advised to check the web site frequently as they are responsible for obtaining amendments. This solicitation will be available in electronic format ONLY; distribution is limited to electronic medium, and the VA will not provide hard copies. Copies of the solicitation may be downloaded at no charge at the beta. SAM website.

A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit shall be held, date/time/location to be provided with the solicitation. Only one site visit is planned.

The estimated Construction Cost Range for this effort is the range prescribed in VAAR 836.204, is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid Bond will be required from Department of the Treasury’s Listing of Approved Sureties. No bidder’s list is maintained.
