STATEMENT OF WORK
NEW JERSEY VAM- East Orange Campus ALIGNRT SYSTEM & GATEct SERVICE CONTRACT
STATEMENT OF WORK
BACKGROUND
The VA New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange Campus is currently seeking VisonRT Comprehensive Service and Support Plan for the AlignRT System and GateCT. The GateCT uses a single stereo camera unit which tracks the patient during CT acquisition. The GateCT can be used to track a patient’s breathing during CT scanning enabling four-dimensional computed tomography (4DCT) acquisition and reconstruction. The AlignRT System is used to position and monitor patients relative to the prescribed treatment, and to withhold the beam automatically during radiation delivery. This makes treatment safer by using a contact-free technique to track a patient’s skin surface in real-time with sub-millimetric accuracy and ensures radiation is only delivered when the patient is correctly positioned. If the patient moves, the system automatically signals the treatment delivery system to pause radiation.
