2) Attached is the equipment list.
3) All interested parties must acknowledge the amendment by signing in including with your quote on or before the closing date, August 14, 2020 at 10:00am EST.

1. Who provided the previous security and maintenance for this equipment? Vantage
2. May we view the Preventive Maintenance records for the equipment? Yes, the awardee will be able to review PM records after award.
3. Will we provide an assessment on the existing infrastructure, determining if the camera(s), monitor(s), etc. can be used or needs to be replaced or are we providing all new equipment? All current equipment if functioning however if they brake then will need to be replaced as part of the service contract (Parts and labor included)
4. If we are using an existing equipment/infrastructure, do you have a preference for the manufacturer? Bosch, Panasonic for DVR-NVR and cameras
5. Are there any DVA or NY code violations we need to address? No
6. I am sure the current security system is hard wired; however is there active internet connectivity to all buildings? No
7. Is there active connectivity to Emergency Response Units; Police, Fire, etc.? Only from panic / intrusion alarm system not for cameras
8. Is there proper power (electrical) to all areas where any equipment is going? Yes
9. Are there any requirements for power/battery backup to keep all monitoring online during an outage? Yes, on all intrusion and panic alarms
10. Will this system be behind a DMZ or on it's own network? All currently on its own network.
11. Are there any requirements for data backup? Onsite? Offsite? Number of days/months that need to be backed up regularly? Currently there are no external memory devices. The DVR is the primary recorder and holds for two weeks
12. For Reporting, are there proprietary report templates that should be used to show all necessary data or just the system's standard activity monitoring report? No proprietary type reports however we can provide copies of templates used in the past.
13. Expected Start Date? Expected start date to our understanding is 10/1/2020.
14. Is there a showstopper date that needs to be completed for inspection and/or compliance? All monthly test must be completed before the end of each month
15. Will we be in contact with any data that will require any HIPPA regulations? No
16. Is there an incumbent for the subject opportunity? If so, could you please provide the incumbent vendor name and contract number? Current incumbent UNITED FACILITY SERVICES CORP and GS-21F-0129W/ VA243-16-F-2260.
17. Can you please provide me with the current contract number? Refer to above
18. Any changes from the current scope of work? I do not know. This requirement is currently under a Facility Maintenance contract. I am not the CO for the contract.
19. Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number? Refer to questions 16 and 17.
20. Is there an incumbent for the subject opportunity? If so, could you please provide the incumbent vendor name and contract number? Refer to question 16.
21. How long is the phase in phase out process with the former contractor? The government does not think a phase in phase out is required for this requirement. But if needed, the time frame is 30 days.
22. Is it possible to get a camera list which includes description and area on a map or blueprint on the building? The government is unable to provide blueprints: description is through the facility in common areas such as Hallways, waiting areas, and elevators.
23. Are we responsible for our own monitoring company? If yes, can we have a list of devices that will be linked to the monitoring company for update purposes? Yes (White Plain, Yonkers and Queens CBOCs panic and Intrusion alarms)
24. It was identified there is an incumbent contractor working under an existing contract in similar scope. May you please provide the contract # currently being performed under as well as the incumbent? Refer to question 16.
25. We would like to request quantities on the following systems components:
1. CCTV DVR’s
2. Analog CCTV Cameras
3. CCTV Monitors (Including all viewing stations)
4. Intrusion Detection Devices
5. Panic Alarm Buttons Please see attached equipment list.
26. It was identified that the CBOC’s are currently being monitored by a 3rd party service which notifies VA Police if an alarm event is initiated. Can you please confirm 3rd party alarm monitoring service is to be provided as part of this contract? Yes, the CBOC are monitored by an outside company that notifies the VA Police during an adverse event.
27. Can you please confirm access control is not part of the scope of this contract? The only access control is approximately 35 Aphone control points that should be under this service contract
