1. There are two bid dates on the solicitation. In the body of the solicitation it states the bid is due on 7/28/20 and on line 13a it is due on 7/21/20. Please identify which date is correct.

Please see amendment P0001 to original solicitation, date is clarified to reflect 7/28/2020.

2. The bidding documents provide no details as to the basis of design. There are a wide array of possible replacement guard shakes with even greater choices for HVAC tonnage, heat, electrical requirements (outlets, power, lighting) ballistic protection, window tinting, and protective bollards, and intercoms and speakers if desired. Please provide manufacture and details and or cut sheets for what you are looking for at a minimum. As a minimum, we want the same construction as what is existing. Basic number of outlets, lighting, heating & AC to meet the proper size for the structures. The big building needs to have the automatic door as the existing. Also wall mounted unit is preferred to a rooftop unit for prevention of leaks and ease of maintenance.

3. Are spec and/or drawings available for the project? No, existing structures were viewed during the walkthrough. This is a one for one replacement.

4. Is there a basis of design, manufacturer for these new booths? Does agency want these booths from any specific manufacturer? No.

5. Do all the new booths need to have State of NJ modular building certification? If required, then price will have significant upcharge. No.

6. Corona virus has affected the production so the lead time for these booths is minimum 110 calendar days therefore requesting to increase the period of performance to a minimum of 120 calendar days or more. CO will provide for this within the final contract award. VA understands delays with COVID-19.

No, as a minimum needs to be tempered and if possible insulated glass.
