X The above referenced RFQ/Solicitation identified in block 9a for Replace and Install new IP Network Cameras at the Northport VA Medical Center has been amended/modified.

The purpose of this modification is to provide the following:

1) Provide answers to the questions that has been submitted.

2) Upload site visit sign in sheet.

3) All interested party must acknowledge the amendment by signing in including with your quote on or before the closing date, June 10, 2019 at 10:00am EST.

Charnell Cunningham Contract Specialist 36C24219Q0699 – Replace and Install New IP Network Cameras at the Northport VA Questions and Answers

1. Q: Can the V.A provide Reports for buildings that the work is to be performed in?

We ask this question because of any asbestos that be inside the buildings. if so, how do we mitigate this?

A: Per, the Facility Safety Officer (FSO) at the Northport VA, the documentation is too excessive to provide, however, the awarded can obtain this information once the contract has been awarded.

Or

Any other vendor interested in see the report can call to schedule a meeting with the FSO. The FSO information will be provided upon request.

NOTE: The solicitation will not be extended.

2.Q: Can the V.A please provide floor plans showing:
A. Existing Cameral Locations
B. New Camera Locations

C. IT Closets (Please show/display Pleas show available POE ports for this deployment by closet.

A: Site plans provided but for security purposes, we will not include camera nor switch/IT closet locations. Camera locations on SOW and switch location will be provided in Question #19 (below).

3. Q: How many areas require scheduling to work in? Mean can we work in different locations at the same time?

A: Yes, they can work in different areas at the same time. Only two (2) areas are considered sensitive that will require strict scheduling and escorting to access the areas (Pharmacy and Agent Cashier).

4. Q: Is ICRA required within any of the buildings to perform the installation?

A: The facility’s policy not requiring ICRA is to limit ceiling tile access to no more than two open at a time. Once the contract is awarded, we will present the winning vendor’s action plan to the Infectious Disease Service and they will review and determine if any other requirements must be followed.

5. Q: Where do the analog cameras presently terminate?

A: Most are terminated at the headend.

6. Q: Do we need to submit “As builds” drawings, based on the floor plans delivered to us?

A: Yes.

7. Q: Who presently has the V.A contract with the American Dynamics for Video edge and Victor systems?

A: There is no existing contract in place.

8. Q: Lastly, will there be an extension if the Q&A can’t be answered by June 5, 2019? We are asking this question because we have a lot to review for proper pricing. Please advise.

A: Q&A posted on June 5, 2019. The solicitation will not be extended.

9. Q: Can you post the sign in sheet?

A: Yes, see attachment.

10. Q: How many servers do you all have?

A: 8 NVRs

11. Q: How many existing cameras?

A: Not applicable. Vendor only needs to provide a server (NVR) that has the capacity and specifications to program and record the 55 cameras pertaining to this project and maintain 30 days of video playback storage.

12. Q: What model number are the servers?

A: VE2u 64 Channel

13. Q: Are they Hybrid or NVR?

A: There are six (6) hybrids, but this project does not require an additional hybrid.

14. Q: Are you using Victor Centralized Licensing or are all licenses attached to the servers?

A: Attached to the server.

15. Q: Can we get drawings of buildings with camera and network locations?

A: Due to security reasons, drawings are not available.

16. Q: Cameras spec’d state 1080p, 3MP. 1080p is only 2.1MP. Which cameras do you want 2MP or 3MP?

A: 2MP

17. Q: Do all cameras need to be weather proof or just the exterior ones?

A: Just the exterior.

18. Q: Who will supply network switch’s in areas that need an extra switch?

A: Contractor

19. Q: List of open ports in each network closet?
