About this file

This document provides additional data requirements for a federal solicitation for steel plate from the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime. The certificate of conformance for any awarded lots must state that each lot has been sampled, tested, and inspected in accordance with the specification requirements. It must also confirm that the manufacturer has maintained adequate manufacturing procedures demonstrated in first article testing. The certificate is required to include the revision of the Process Control Plan used and the date of most recent first article approval or recertification. Explosion bulge type testing, descaling, coating, and tighter tolerances are either not required or inapplicable as indicated by YES or N/A responses for the relevant provisions.
