This document provides an update to a Request for Information (RFI) from the United States Space Force regarding the development of a virtual environment for the Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) program. The Space Force seeks information on existing capabilities for rapidly delivering a comprehensive virtual environment to support initial training through advanced training, tactics development, and wargaming. Capabilities of interest include high-fidelity mission-specific simulators, validated adversary models, and a multi-level secure virtual platform. Respondents are also requested to describe their experience integrating new and legacy tools and digital models into a virtual environment. The response deadline was extended to February 26, 2024. The Space Force will hold an online presentation on February 28th and optional one-on-one meetings March 4-8 for selected respondents to discuss responses in further detail.

Document Release: Relevant previous RFI FA8819-RFI-24-01

Description:

Space Systems Command (SSC) Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) RFI Response Due Date Change, Data Availability, and Support Contractor List Update

· No response requested – information release and update to industry only.

· Relevant Previous RFI: FA8819-24-01

The purpose of this RFI Update #1 is to inform industry the due date for the 7-page RFI response is moved to Monday, 26 February 2024. A Government presentation remains planned for 28 Feb 2024 with 1-on-1’s by invitation on 4-8 Mar 24. Instructions for dialing into the 28 Feb 2024 meeting will be provided the week of 19 Feb.

The review of Government Reference Architecture documents related to this RFI is ongoing and documents will be made available as soon as possible. Respondents to this RFI are encouraged to focus their response papers on their existing capabilities with respect to the information described in RFI release in FA8819-24-01. A follow-up post will include information regarding how to access documents being made available.

The Government updates the list of SSC support contractors to remove LinQuest. LinQuest does not support the OTTI Integrated Program Office (IPO) internally and is not preparing or evaluating information related to this RFI.
