About this file

This memorandum extends the solicitation period for solicitation number 23-Q-0010 from the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command for an LRS lift cylinder. The original solicitation allowed for a seven day response period but only received one offer. In accordance with DFARS 205.203(S-70), when a solicitation allows for fewer than 30 days and results in a single offer, the contracting officer is required to re-solicit with a period of at least 30 days for receipt of offers. Therefore, the memorandum extends the solicitation period for solicitation 23-Q-0010 to 30 days to allow for additional time to receive more offers for the LRS lift cylinder in the best interest of the government.

MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

Contract Title: LRS Lift Cylinder

Contract Number: FA462623Q0010

In accordance with (IAW) DFARS 205.203 (S-70) - When using competitive procedures, if a solicitation allowed fewer than 30 days for receipt of offers and resulted in only one offer, the contracting officer shall resolicit, allowing an additional period of at least 30 days for receipt of offers. The solicitation aforementioned was solicited for a seven (7) day posting, due to the lack of receiving quotes it is in the best interest to the Government to extend the solicitation to be ran for a full thirty (30) days.
