About this file

This is a request for proposals from the Department of the Navy's Military Sealift Command for dry cargo voyage charters. The RFP seeks proposals for vessel transportation services under two scenarios, the first requiring transport of 56,025 square feet of military cargo from Alexandropolis, Greece to Jacksonville, Florida by May 1, 2021, and the second requiring transport of 164,951 square feet of military cargo from Rotterdam, Netherlands to Jacksonville, Florida by May 1, 2021. Offerors must provide fully bunkered vessels capable of meeting the load and discharge port requirements along with required documentation and plans. Proposals are due by February 18, 2021 and awards will be made to responsible offerors presenting the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposals while giving preferences to U.S.-flag vessels and participants in the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement program. Evaluation will consider technical acceptability, past performance, and price.
