MARKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE
Advanced Occupational Education Services FPC Yankton, South Dakota
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The service will encompass the provision of Advanced Occupational Education services. The contractor will develop lesson objectives, plans, and prepare a viable course curriculum leading to certificates and associate degrees in Accounting, Business, and Horticulture. These services will be provided for the prisoners held in the custody of the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, located at the Federal Prison Camp located in Yankton, South Dakota. The requirement for these services will consist of an estimated 1150 sessions per 12 month period (three semesters of study per contract year). Each session will be defined as approximately eight (1 hour sessions) hours in length. It is anticipated the services will be required Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holiday (an estimated required period will usually be 15 weeks per semester). Normal work hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A mutually agreed upon schedule between the contractor and the Bureau of Prisons will be determined following award of a contract. There will be an estimated 20 inmates per class. The performance period will be for a base year, being 12 months from the estimated date of award and four 12 month option periods. Data collected from this survey is for informational purposes only.

All potential quoters are advised if a solicitation is issued it will include the clause at FAR 52.212-4 (July 2013) for Commercial Items. This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database.
