(16) Description: The effort provides Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support for the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) and Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO) Programs managed by SMC Range and Network Division (SMC/RN). Tasks for this effort directly support key modernization activities on the AFSCN. This effort supports the ongoing evolutionary development and conversion of the AFSCN to a Netcentric/Service Oriented Architecture, the planned legacy AFSCN upgrades, and the design and deployment of key development projects as defined through the Satellite Control Network Contract (SCNC) or the Consolidated AFSCN Modifications, Maintenance & Operations (CAMMO) contract.

Additionally, the SE&I contractor ensures that the STAO documentation is updated to ensure training requirements are current.
