Solicitation No. 140R6024Q0016 Amendment No. 00001

Question and Answers for the Pathfinder Battery System Replacement

1. Can you please confirm if the chargers are single phase or three phase AC input?

Also, based on the part number provided, this charger does not require any options, however, looking at the description provided, the options to be included should be:

11F – Special 30mV Filtering 45R – Discrete Alarm Relays 38D – Copper Ground Bus Bar 11L – Lightning Arrestor A: This is correct. The options COULD be included in the part number, but we do not have that part number. This is brand name or equal.

2. The smallest 48VDC 3 phase input charger is a 50 Amp charger.

A: This was an error. The charger is a 48VDC 3 phase 50 Amp charger. Please see the attached updated Salient Characteristics.

3. The price breakdown page listed 125VDC battery chargers (2).

A: This was a typographical error. The battery chargers (2) should be 48VDC.

4. Can the new batteries be installed in the same location as the existing batteries? Are the chargers already installed or will those need to be procured and installed in this solicitation? If new chargers need to be installed, will they be in the existing location or will they require to be in a new location?

A: The batteries and the chargers will be installed by the Bureau of Reclamation. Both the batteries and the chargers are to be procured with this solicitation.

5. This amendment will extend the due date to January 12, 2024 at 1500 MS.
