Questions and Answers listed below:

QUESTIONS:

Question # Question Answer/Response

1. 5/9/23 The smaller of the two has rust holes below!

It looks like we’re going to have to do some welding on the rust areas if in fact there’s a hole there? Are you guys going to want this repaired

(welded)

Repairs will not be covered under this statement of work. This will be a separate project in the future to cut out and redo damaged areas of this historic tower.

2. 5/11/23 Are we able to visit the location to see the interior and exterior after scheduled site visit?

Yes, externally you can visit the towers at your convenience.

Internal viewing of the towers will need to be coordinated with the park but could be arranged.

3. 5/15/23 Is there any power for the 2 lighthouses Where is the water hook up for both light houses.

Front (tall) range light has power and garden hose hookup. Rear

(small) tower has no power or water.

4. 5/15/23 We were wondering if the paint already on the tower contains lead. If awarded, we will have a subcontractor that will perform the scope of work, and they are inquiring about using vacuum scraping, assuming that the current paint job contains lead.

Towers will contain traces of lead and all scrapings should be handled and disposed of accordingly.
