Solicitation 140P5423R0033

Replace Gate Valves at Convoy Point

Biscayne National Park

Questions and Answers

1) We understand the system will need to remain live at all times. Does that mean pressure testing and chlorination will not be required?

Testing will not be required. If any testing needs to be done, the park will have our own water plant operator do all the sampling.

2) Will tree removal be allowed in the area behind the Headquarters building?

If there are no mangroves that need to be removed, the park will get compliance to remove any tree’s that are in the way of the gate valves. The contractor will need to handle the removal.
