Laboratories must be certified by the DCLS in all analytes covered by this contract through the Virginia Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (VELAP). All water samples will be collected by park staff in containers supplied by the contract laboratory. The contractor shall arrange to have the samples picked up from Shenandoah National Park and transported to the laboratory. The contract laboratory shall supply chain of custody forms that provide sample accountability.

Bids should reflect the total cost for the estimates provided. Additional tests will have to be authorized by the Contracting Officer through a modification to the contract.
