Opportunity: The purpose of this project is to foster seed incr

Description

The National Park Service, Bryce Canyon National Park, has a requirement for Native Seed Growth for Rehabilitation and Restoration of Native Plant Communities for work related to seed increase located in a high elevation environment (> 6,000) similar to Bryce Canyon National Park (BRCA), where the original plant accessions originate. BRCA genetic sourced seed is needed for utilization in the recovery of disturbed areas and for restoring habitat for the federally threatened Utah Prairie Dog (Cynomys parvidens). The contractor will be requested to perform the following tasks: provide technical assistance via email or phone call regarding native plant revegetation, continuation of propagation of native plant seed increase; establishment and harvesting of seed from NPS genetic stocks; cleaning and testing.

A solicitation is expected to be posted by July 20, 2018, for this project. The specifications will be provided when the solicitation is posted.
