The purpose of this amendment is to provide additional questions and answers and extend the due date for quotes to 8/31/2023.

Q - Are we (the contractor/vendor) packing everything?

A - Employees will pack all of their own files and personal items; contractor will pack everything else. Example: Glass show case box with glass shelves. Will the contractor pack up the glass shelves also? Yes.

Q - How will furniture and items removed be put back?

A - Everything will be put back the way it was taken out. Set up/layout will remain the same.

Q- Can contractors take photos once the contract is awarded?

A - A- Yes, Contractors can take photos/ inventory once contract is awarded and the BLM gives notice to proceed, and personal/ business need items are removed.

Q - Will maps, pictures, wall hangings, decorations, etc. be removed?

A - A- Yes, all items will be removed from the walls by employees and not part of the contract.

Q - Will employees put furniture back in the correct locations?

A - All items removed by the contractor will be labeled and inventoried and put back where it was removed from by the contractor.

Q - What furniture will be taken out of the FS

Personnel Management Specialist Office?

A - A- The Desk and filing cabinet will need to be removed by contractor.

Q - Can the BLM post videos/pictures to the solicitation?

A - We have already posted pictures on Amendment

4 that gives examples of office spaces.

Q - When will this move happen?

A - Based on the building renovation start and completion dates, which are tentatively scheduled for August 2024 move out and March 2025 move in.

(See Statement of Work on original solicitation).

These dates are dependent on when construction is scheduled and may be changed. Contractor shall begin work within 30 days of request to begin work.

Q - How do cubicles come apart? Can you provide pictures of cubicle joints?

A - Picture of cubicle joints will be posted with

Amendment 6 which will answer additional questions as well.

Q - Will the Vera desks be moved and stored by the contractor?

A - Yes

Q - Will files be packed and stored separately?

A - A- Yes, files will be packed by employees and store separately not by the contractor.

Q - Will BLM provide diagrams or pictures/videos of how everything should be put back?

A - The contractor can take pictures, videos, and create diagrams to complete the work after contract is awarded and the BLM gives notice to proceed.

Additional notes from site visit on 8/22/2023:

Printers will be packed before movers can take them. Also, electronics will be labeled with

Mechanical Condition Unknown (MCU). This means that equipment may be working before being moved/stored but contractor is not expected to guarantee conditions after being moved/stored.
