About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for the Bureau of Land Management Idaho Region's Lick Skillet Hand Thinning project (RFQ 140L3724Q0018). The document addresses contractor inquiries about site conditions and responsibilities.

The Q&A clarifies that all work units are adjacent to plowed public roads, with snow depths of approximately 2 feet within the units, though some areas have patchy drifts up to 1 foot deep with mostly dry and accessible conditions. The contractor is responsible for following piling specifications outlined in the Statement of Work but is not responsible for burning the piles. No pile covering is required. The questions primarily focus on access conditions, snow accumulation, and pile management responsibilities.
