2. Could you publish a kmz file so we can load it onto google earth so we can see exactly how it lays with the land?

Attached to amendment

3. For the gallons per acre how much water per acre will be utilized?

Herbicide supplier should suggest

4. The RFP and SOW outline "Approximately ~5,000 acres...". When would we know the final acreage count? Important for asset planning and product order.

The .KMZ polygon I shared last week was plotted during the fire incident and reflects the most accurate boundary we can get using aerial reconnaissance. From that file, the project boundary plots out to 5,391 acres. The reason for saying "approximately" may have been to account for any minor inaccuracies between the mapped and the actual project boundary.

5. Will BLM aid in communication with NTTR for the application to take place?

The COR or PI may assist the vendor with communication protocols and scheduling range time. It is incumbent upon the pilot(s) to communicate directly with Blackjack (NTTR Tower) while in the vicinity of or within the restricted airspace of the NTTR.

6. Are ADSB and a Transponder required?

As an end-product contract the BLM cannot stipulate aircraft capabilities or technology beyond that which is eminently relevant to the mission (e.g. on board GPS unit to upload project boundary and track treated area). According to

CFR 91.215, the aircraft would not be operating within the type of airspace that requires use of a transponder. However, the NTTR may have expectations of aircraft within their airspace.

For now (voicemail placed with Blackjack ATC

Supervisor at 10:10am on 8/29/23) I am waiting to hear back from Blackjack with an answer and I will forward it onward.

7. Should the monthly schedule of available dates be included in our bid deliverable or will take be a post award requirement?

The monthly schedule is not required in the bid deliverable per the SOW Section 2.0, B., 2.

8. Do you have an idea of which month would be best for the application to take place?

Which month is best is dependent on the operational temperature window for the chemical and snow cover over the project area.

9. For Pilot's knowledge, will PI's or government representatives be present in the application area when spraying operations are active?

A PI may be on-site during spraying operations, however, that will be determined during the pre-project briefing.

10. The chemical label only calls out for 2 gallons per acre

No less than 2 gallon per acre tank mix applied
