Q1. **Number of Drivers Needed:**
‐ How many light truck drivers are required?
‐ How many heavy truck drivers are required?
‐ How many shu le bus drivers (van drivers) are needed?
A1. As our trips and schedules change o en, it is an indeterminate number.
On any given day we may require a single driver or up to 8 drivers. Typically it is a combina on of CDL
(heavy duty) and Non‐CDL (light duty) drivers. Addi onally, I do not have the total number of drives but annually, there are approximately 200 total drives (a combina on of heavy and light duty).
Q2. **Driver Schedule:**
‐ Is there a fixed schedule for the drivers, or will they be needed on an on‐call basis?
‐ If there is a fixed schedule, could you provide the details of the shi s and the expected hours of opera on?
A2. We do have a schedule but it is subject to change. Most of our drives are to Lees Ferry, Diamond
Creek or Pierce Ferry to launch river boats or pick them up at the end of their trip. These drives are anywhere from 7 hours to 11 hours.
Q3. **Addi onal Requirements:**
‐ Are there any specific qualifica ons or cer fica ons required for the drivers?
‐ Any other per nent details we should be aware of regarding the du es and responsibili es of the drivers?
A3. CDL drivers will need their Hazardous materials endorsement. Anyone driving the van will be required to have their passenger endorsement.
Q4. Can I have the defini ons of categories in the Excel spread sheet for the Solicita on
140G0324Q0144, Drive Logis cs RFQ? I am not understanding what "Contractor Title" means and need clarifica on on Bill Rate and Weighted Rate
A4. Contractor Title refers to the job that is being performed; ie "CDL driver" or "warehouse worker"‐ please refer to the percentages in the SOW.
Please disregard the pay rate, Bill rate and only provide the Weighted Rate. This will be the fully burdened rate that includes your cost as well as contractor fees.
Q5. Also, in the Category side of the same spreadsheet, the Logis cal and Technical boatmen are listed as N/A, but included in the a achment Statement of Work as 1%, do we need to create a rate to include?
Am I able to add in an Admin fee to the spreadsheet or do I need to include it in the Bill rate?
A5. I have adjusted the SOW to remove boat operators. I have also edited the cost es ma on sheet to remove them and have added the es mated funding to the warehouse workers column.
Addi onally, we are providing the drivers schedule for 2024 and the first task order for drives in the month of August 2024 upon award.
