Attachment 2: Questions and Answers

1. Q. Could specifications and/or pictures be provided for the 3-yd bins to be used for the solid waste? This is to verify access from the top to remove the solids to ensure equipment needs are understood.

A. Attaching pictures of the tubs and totes. Tubs have no top. Totes have an opening on top and 2 2” camlock fitting on the bottom/side.

2. Q. The Statement of Work, Section II Background 2nd paragraph describes the 3-yd bins provided by USGS located at Happy Valley Camp are for “vendor to pick up” but in the 5th paragraph it states, “vendor shall provide a vacuum truck which will suck out fluids and solids from the containment area then haul for disposal”. Please clarify if the pricing should reflect transportation of the 3-yd bins to and from the containment area to Deadhorse?

A. Tubs and totes will not be hauled off by vendor. Rather vendor will suck out fluids and cuttings from tubs and totes at Happy Valley.

3. Q. Please provide dimensions required for the containment area to be built at the Happy Valley location.

A. Dimensions could be 10’w x 40’l. 1’ high berm is sufficient for height

4. Q. On page 2 Column B of the RFQ document, it states that “Potential offers are required to complete and return with their quotes/offers FAR provisions 52.204-24 and 52.204-26.”

Does this mean offerors do not need to complete and return FAR provisions 52.212-3?

A. No, Offerors are required to submit the following documents with their quote.

• FAR provisions 52.204-24

• FAR provisions 52.204-26
