140G0323Q0175 – Amendment 1 Submitted Questions and Answers
QUESTION: There are three “Intertial” wave sensors listed separately. Can you confirm the goal is to have a single “inertial” wave sensor installed on the buoy plus 2 spares? Or is the goal to have three inertial wave sensors pre-installed on the same buoy?
ANSWER: Only want one inertial sensor if that is all that is required to measure waves. We are not currently looking to purchase spares. The part number for our preferred sensor is a Sea Level
SVS-603HR.
QUESTION: I wasn’t able to find reference to mooring system to secure the buoy, can you confirm there is no requirement for securing the buoy?
ANSWER: We are not requesting a mooring system to secure the buoy to the seabed. We have or will purchase that hardware separately.
QUESTION: Should any cellular or satellite service be included? Or just provide the hardware.
ANSWER: Just provide the hardware.
QUESTION: Are there any preferred part numbers/models?
ANSWER: See list below - SAME OR EQUAL.
