Vendor Questions and Answers – RFQ 140G0124Q0064

Question:

"Are you able to tell us what type of boat we will be installing the new engines?

Vessel

Make

Model

Year

Existing engines installed?

Photos of the vessel? "

Answer:

The boat is a 21' 2012 Twin Vee Outrage. Dual hull, center console. Existing engines are installed and are Yamaha. Older picture of vessel included, shows old engines that were already replaced.

What steering does the vessel have and does it need to be replaced? What is the process with the old motors once they are removed?

Currently it had Seastar hydraulic steering, which does not need to be replaced. With the old motors, one of them is already taken apart with the head of the engine in our machine shop. We can just throw the lower unit into one of our trucks. If they could crate the other into one of the new engine crates that would be great. If not, we can put it on a pallet and have them stick it into the back of one of our trucks.

"Are there any pictures that can be provided? If not, is there any way we can schedule a site visit?"

Pictures of the 70HP engines below. Only have pics of the transom, and you could let them know that they are being installed on a 20' Twin Vees currently outfitted with the 70 HP yamahas.
