Multimedia What goes on the homepage for the Flyway screen?

(same for all touch screens)?

• Flyway Multimedia home page = image will be provided and is shown in Appendix 2:

Section 1.1, left side. However, the image will need alteration because the "Home" button should be removed and this "species" page used as the home page (home button is an error)

• Rare Residents Multimedia home page = image will be provided and is shown in Appendix 2: Section 2.1, left side

• Featured Species Multimedia home page = image will be provided and is shown on Appendix 2: Section 3.2, left side. However, the image will need alteration because the "Home" button should be removed and this "species" page used as the home page (home button is an error)

Who provides all the images for the multimedia screens?

• most images to be provided by the designer

Do we emulate what is in the current design, or will final graphics be provided for us to use as the slides, etc.?

• For any graphics not provided, the contractor will be required to emulate or negotiate a similar graphic

On Option 4 featured species, who provides the animation?

• the animation would be created as part of this contract, using the provided mural text (pages 36-39 of text document) and using the conceptual art for inspiration (Appendix 2: Section 3.1-3.4).

North Wall For plants, artificial grasses, water, etc. is it expected that a colored resin (or eq.) will be used to create the water in the pool for the species to go in, or just a colored/painted/laminate backdrop/finish on the floor of the deck, etc.

• a colored resin (water) or textured substrate (soil) would be preferred in order to represent the habitats on display, but this is negotiable

Option 1 What is the finish for the flat cut-out aluminum reeds?

• This would be a painted aluminum product, color similar to Sherwin Williams Lustral Satin matching SN1540 Tan

Option 2 Come Explore:

Who provides the objects in the clear bins?

• USFWS will provide materials for the bins

Design Model Can the designers provide a 3D model of the outdoor kiosk and/or column for us to better explore the buildability of these components?

• a 3D model is not available

Hardware, misc.

On all the wall mounted hardware, there are very specific aluminum channels and angles, etc.

Can we provide our own solution for those hanging opportunities, or is this something specific the designers have used in the past?

• mounting hardware solutions are negotiable as long as durability remains the same

With the posts penetrating the decks on the North and South walls, can we explore different mounting methods for those as well?

• Mounting methods are negotiable as long as durability and design aesthetics remain the same

Can we frame out and build the curved decks with our own methodology, substrates, etc.?

• deck construction methodology is negotiable as long as durability and design aesthetics remain the same

Could the designers add the graphic type on the graphic schedule?

• No

Is it possible to get the graphic schedule as a doc vs a pdf?

• Yes

Are the designers open to construction suggestions once the fabricator has been chosen?

• Possibly, we would have to ask the designers

Can we use Imageloc instead of HPL?

• Yes, as long as the product stays true to the design

Does the Kiosk roof match the building roof?

• The chosen color and material for the kiosk roof are nearly identical to the building roof, but not from the same manufacturer

On the kiosk base do we need to apply flat stone veneer to the round column?

• Yes

Any more details on the fire station model?

• The fire tower model is intended to be a to-scale replica of the existing historic fire lookout tower. Drawing 3.1 indicates that the overall tower height should be approximately 9 feet tall

Are we responsible for taking down existing exterior signs?

• No
