QUESTIONS FOR SOLICITATION 140FC224Q0016 – Baird Warehouse Paving

1. Is it acceptable to provide a voluntary alternate asphalt pavement (same pavement thickness as the concrete pavement) for consideration for this project?

A: Yes, you may submit a quote with a comparable material; however, please include as much detail as possible on the alternate product proposed for the Government to evaluate your offer (if we determine it’s more advantageous). The Government’s preference and SOW calls for the use of concrete, submitting an alternate offer does not guarantee evaluation or award.

2. Do you have any kind of site drawing with existing grades or contour elevations for the existing site?

A: We do not, the site is relatively flat and just requires the minimum slopes shown on the drawings.

3. I don’t see any type of restoration on the site drawings or language requiring restoration, does this bid need to have restoration included? If so, what will be the requirements for the seed & mulch etc.

A: Please refer to Section 02950 of the SOW, restoration language is included in this section.
