Amendment #1 to Solicitation #140F0922Q0136 Demolish Gazebo Pavilion & Construct Info Kiosk
Response to RFI / Q & A September 9, 2022
Question 1: 1. Is there an incumbent? If so, are they eligible to re-compete for this solicitation?
Do you know if they plan to recompete?
Answer 1: No incumbent for this project.
Question 2: Are you able to extend the deadline?
Answer 2: The RFQ deadline is firm and cannot be extended.
Question 3: Do you have photos of the site? A site visit would not be needed if you could provide photos. The photo in the solicitation is very blurry.
Answer 3: Yes, attached is a picture of the gazebo to be demolished. This concrete area is immediately adjacent to a large parking area for the refuge and the walking/observation trail.
The kiosk area is just adjacent to this area, although there are no remains of the kiosk on site, only a concrete pad for the kiosk area. I have also attached a copy of the design plans for the kiosk, for reference in providing a quote.
Question 4: I would like to schedule a site visit for the Demolish Gazebo Pavilion & Construct Info Kiosk project. Can we schedule for this Friday, September 9th in the morning sometime?
Answer 4 and CO follow-up Question: We have a picture of the project site and design plans for the kiosk, see attached. Will this work in place of a site visit? The vendor with this question confirmed the picture and design plans work instead of a site visit.
Question 5: Request for site visit instead of the picture and design plans?
Answer 5: Technical POC confirmed site visit is okay. However, the project site is a public rec area and there will be no formal staff representative to provide this walk through. Refer to SOW for address. If a site visit is absolutely needed to provide an accurate quote, you may visit the site prior to the RFQ deadline.
