Description
PROJECT LOCATION: Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, Oak Savanna Learning Center, US Fish & Wildlife Service, 17076 293rd Avenue, Zimmerman, Minnesota, Sherburne County. (The Oak Savanna Learning Center (project site) is located off 293rd Avenue on Old School House Road).
ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated.
SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade contractors, with a size standard of $15 Million.
The solicitation package will be available at www.FBO.gov and www.FedConnect.net on or about July 16, 2018, with a Bid Opening occurring on or about August 15, 2018. Bid Opening will be at 3:00 PM CST. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. This solicitation will NOT be available in hard copy. The solicitation package will include the following: FAR Clauses, Bid Schedule, Specifications, Drawings, Prevailing Wage Determination, Preconstruction Safety Checklist, and Bid Bond Form. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded solicitation package before submitting your Bid. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Bid.
Contractors MUST be registered as "ACTIVE" in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to include Online Representations and Certifications at the time of Bid Opening to be eligible for this award. Address on SF1442 must match address in SAM.gov. THERE IS NO CHARGE TO REGISTER IN THIS SYSTEM. IT IS FREE TO REGISTER IN SAM. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW REQUIREMENTS AND POSSIBLE DELAYS FOR VENDOR REGISTRATIONS IN SAM.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work includes the construction of asphalt roadways and parking lots including associated grading, base aggregates, storm sewers, concrete sidewalks, concrete curb and gutters, lighting, signage, and landscaping for the existing Oak Savanna Learning Center facility at the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, Zimmerman, Minnesota. The project also includes the development, implementation, and reporting of a storm water management plan and other work as required by the drawings and specifications.
SITE VISIT: Offeror's are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Site visit details will be provided when the full solicitation package is available.
