Questions in response to Solicitation No. 140D0423Q0432, Admission Fee Collector for the Museum of the Plains Indian
1. Will the contractor employee/s work a full-time schedule of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday or will it be 10:00AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday? Both of these schedules are mentioned in the solicitation to start June 1, 2023.
Answer: The is an error with the hours. The museum will be open to the public from 9:00am to 4:45pm. Coverage for the admission collection should be 8:45am to 5:00pm. SEE REVISED
STATEMENT OF WORK.
2. Shall the contractor have two part time Admission Fee Collectors with alternating work schedules to supplement days where one may be out sick so the other can as the backup opposed to having only one full time individual for the entire shift coverage?
Answer: This is up to the contractor on how best they feel to cover the workday, but we expect coverage for the admission collection during the time 8:45am to 5:00pm.
3. Will the government consider the Admission Fee Collector to still be on the clock while making bank deposits either before or after the museum is closed for making daily bank deposits? Also, if more than 40 hours in the week have been performed by an individual contractor employee, overtime at 1.5 hours their hourly rate will apply to make these deposits.
Answer: The deposit needs to be made and the contractor can add what they think that will cost to the contract.
4. Is this a Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage Determination contract where Health and Welfare (H&W) is required for contractor's staff?
Answer: Yes. See pg. 4, Section XIII of the solicitation. The Dept. of Labor Wage Determinations are incorporated by reference for Glacier County, Montana hereby applies (2015- 5397).
5. Will the government be responsible for the merchant account processing fees for the contract to accept credit and debit card payments?
Answer: No, we are not responsible; the contractor should include that in their price quote if they have to absorb those costs.
6. Overtime shall apply on Sunday, July 16, 2023 for North American Indian Days. Will the government accept the overtime rate for this date?
Answer: Yes, overtime for Sunday is fine.
