Solicita on Amendment Two (2) Ques on & Answer

1) Who is responsible for removing the furnishings - desks, tables, chairs- with grid we need an open floor, the removal of the les will be dusty?

Response - Contractor will be responsible. Contractor will need to clean the dust, etc.

2) Hours and days allowed to work?

Response - Contractor will work a erhours during school days and can work any me on weekends and whenever there is no school.

1) In Sec on D of the solicita on, paragraph 1 " New ceiling panels must be fi ed to accommodate new 2x2 LED lights and HVAC diffusers." This indicates new HVAC supply and returns are part of the scope of work. Is there a specific brand and model the facility wants, or specs that can be provided for the bidder to include in proposal?

Response – Quick Connect HT 2x2-SPL08 Lay-in Supply White (or equivalent)

2) Are new LED exit signs a part of the scope, or are they remove and reinstall ?

Response - No, use the exis ng ones - reinstall a er installa on.

3) Do any of the rooms, or areas, have dimmers for the lights, or require new compa ble ligh ng controls ?

Response - No

4) Are there currently occupancy sensors in place ? If so are they to be reused and are they compa ble with the lights iden fied in the SOW?

Response - No

5) Please iden fy the model number?

Response - N/A

6) Would a third-party tes ng company suffice in lieu of ND licensed inspector in the event there is an issue with jurisdic on being Federal Property ?

Response – Yes, 3rd party will suffice.

7) In the Objec ve por on of statement of work it states “Remove and replace old acous cal ceiling les, grid, and ligh ng with new.” Can the suspension wires be reused for the grid and lights ?

Response - Suspension wires can be reused, if in working reusable considera on, and add addi onal if needed.

8) Is there an area on site that can accommodate 2-3 connex containers 30 day prior to commencement of work for storage of materials?

Response - Yes, we have the north parking lot that can accommodate as many as are needed.

Do you happen to have a ligh ng count for the number of lights needed?

Response - 1,012
