Questions posed pertaining to solicitation 140A1619R0066 – CISCO Wireless Ports Haskell University

1. Can the due date be extended to June 28, 2019, to allow for development of a detailed response for a turn-key solution? The solicitation will not be extended as it was solicited for 30 plus days in accordance with FAR part 5 procedures and guidance

2. Please release the sign-in sheet from the site visit? There was no sign-in sheet retained for the site survey.

3. Will Indian Economic Enterprises be given preference if they submit a compliant response? If a capable ISBEE or IEE firm were to propose with a competitive proposal the BIA's policy is to consider these firms first.

4. Will contracting remove the requirement for limiting the buy to a Cisco Gold reseller since the University can still get Cisco’s best pricing and a best value solution from a Cisco partner that is not Gold? We would be willing to remove that stipulation, so long as the university gets the best pricing available.

5. Please confirm that no new switches are required and will Haskell’s IT staff handle all network configurations associated with their existing switches? Correct, Haskell IT will handle all network configurations as the switch level with existing switches; no new switches requested with this requirement.

6. The contractor will only be responsible for the new hardware – i.e., access points, controllers, mounts and brackets. Correct? Contractor is responsible for the items listed in the specification sheet, and all applicable licenses for AP's, for a Cisco Enterprise, or Cisco Meraki equal. Only Cisco products will be considered, per Government requirement.
